Vendure Scale
The plan for teams whose orders pass through procurement. Orders held for the right approver, contract prices that start and stop on a date, an audit trail someone can read, and the B2B storefront already built.
Vendure Scale
€2,499
per month, 12-month term, excl. VAT
24 of 32 commercial capabilities, on top of the free open-source core.
Is Scale the right plan for you?
Scale fits when
- Orders over a limit wait for sign-off
- Each customer buys on their own negotiated price list
- Auditors or customers ask who changed what
- Your staff sign in through your identity provider
- You want to see what buyers search for and do not find
- You would rather ship a storefront than build one
Enterprise is the right conversation when
- Buyers start in their own purchasing system
- Quotes go through several rounds of negotiation
- Products are configured to order before they are priced
- You need capabilities built for you by Vendure engineers
- Procurement expects a contract, a DPA, SLAs and a named contact
What procurement adds to an order
At this size the buying rules stop belonging to your customer's buyer and start belonging to their finance team. An order is not placed, it is proposed. It is checked against a spending limit, sent to the right approver, held until someone signs it, and recorded so it can be explained later.
Order approvals hold an order over a spending limit or order total until the right person at your customer approves it, rejects it or asks for changes. Chains with more than one level, timeouts and delegation come with advanced approvals on Enterprise. Contract pricing holds the per-customer price lists, negotiated rates and volume breaks, each with the dates it starts and stops applying. Last year's agreement expires on its own instead of being edited by hand.
OIDC single sign-on lets your administrators sign in through the identity provider your organisation already runs. The audit log records supported administration and commerce events: who changed what, and when. It is the first thing a security review asks for.
Search analytics records what your buyers searched for and what came back, on top of the search engine Growth already gave you. The B2B storefront ships as a production Next.js application already wired to every capability above. Take it as it is, or fork it.
IBM runs several stores on one Vendure platform, including an Employee Purchase Program with its own buying rules, and built those rules itself. Running several stores off one backend is multi-channel, which is in Vendure Core. Scale ships approvals and contract pricing for buying rules like these.
Two ways to implement Scale
Scale is bought online and delivered by your own team or by an official Vendure partner, with Professional Services alongside whenever you want the engineers who build the platform in the room.
Your own team
Your engineers own delivery on a platform they can read and extend. Product support is included in the plan, and Vendure experts can embed alongside your team through Professional Services when you want them.
How Professional Services worksAn official Vendure partner
An agency that has delivered Vendure before owns the project end to end, in your region and your language, against the same licence and the same capabilities.

vs commercetools
Composable SaaS for global multi-brand programmes. Compare on extension limits, sales-quoted order-based pricing and what the bill does when you grow.
vs Adobe Commerce
A deep B2B module on the Magento monolith. Compare on stack weight, negotiated licensing and where B2B Edition's approvals stop.
Questions about Scale
Growth models who your customer is. Scale models how they are allowed to buy: order approvals, contract prices with validity dates, an audit log and single sign-on for your administrators. It also adds shared carts, product types, search analytics and the Next.js B2B storefront. Everything in Growth and Starter is included.
Yes, through an integration your team or a partner builds, and this is usually the deciding requirement at this size. Vendure ships no ERP connector. Integrations are plugins written in TypeScript against a documented API, so an ERP can be the source of truth for stock, customer-specific prices or credit while Vendure owns the buying experience. SAP, Dynamics and NetSuite are the systems we see most often. Bring the specific flow to a call with us. Whether the price is fetched live at checkout or synced ahead of time changes the design. Fetching it live at checkout is Advanced pricing, on Enterprise.
No. Scale includes the Vendure B2B Storefront, a production Next.js application already connected to company accounts, quotes, lists, approvals and contract pricing. Ship it as it is, restyle it, or treat it as the reference implementation for a fully custom build.
When your largest customers order through their own procurement systems, negotiate quotes in rounds, or configure products before they can be priced, or when you need capabilities built for your business and maintained by Vendure engineers. Enterprise starts at €60,000 a year, excl. VAT, and adds PunchOut, quote negotiation, the product configurator, admin access policies, advanced approvals, advanced pricing, federated single sign-on and audit governance on top of everything in Scale, plus a key account manager and the DPA, SLAs and contractual terms procurement asks for. See what Enterprise includes.
No. €2,499 a month is flat. No charge on gross merchandise value, no fee per order and no fee per user, so your price does not go up when your shop sells more. Vendure Cloud usage above the resources your plan includes is billed separately.
Yes, on any cloud or your own hardware, in whichever region you need. Self-hosting does not change the plan price. The same application, data model, APIs and customisations run either way.
Moving from another platform?
Teams arrive at Scale from platforms where approvals and contract pricing each became a custom project. The guides cover what transfers, what has to be rebuilt, and what the move costs in engineering time.
