Product Marketing & GTM Manager (f/m/x)

Vienna / Hybrid (Remote within Europe possible)Full-Time

About Vendure

Vendure is an enterprise commerce platform without the trade-offs. One coherent, extensible backend that lets technical teams move at speed and stay in full control, instead of choosing between rigid legacy systems and complex DIY stacks.

We started as an open-source commerce framework with an active developer community, and we are now expanding into a commercial enterprise platform with Vendure Platform and Vendure Cloud.

Our strongest fit is with companies whose commerce requirements do not fit a standard template: complex B2B, marketplaces, custom pricing, ERP-heavy workflows, multi-brand setups, and other business models that need to model commerce the way they actually operate, without rebuilding everything from scratch.

We are looking for our first dedicated Product Marketing & GTM hire to help turn this transition into clear messaging, better lead conversion, stronger sales materials, and qualified pipeline.

The role

As Product Marketing & GTM Manager, you will help shape how Vendure is positioned, explained, and sold.

This is a hands-on role. You will work directly with the founders and product team to clarify our messaging, improve our website and funnel, create sales and partner materials, and help us capture demand from companies already evaluating Vendure.

You will not be joining a large marketing department. You will be one of the first people turning Vendure's GTM strategy into repeatable execution.

What you will work on

Product positioning and messaging

You will help us clearly communicate the difference between:

  • Vendure Core: our open-source commerce framework
  • Vendure Platform: our enterprise commerce platform
  • Vendure Cloud: our managed Vendure offering
  • Vendure Core Production Support: our support offer for serious Core users

Your work will help buyers understand which Vendure product is right for them without diluting our enterprise platform positioning.

Demand capture

You will improve how we convert existing demand into the right commercial path.

This includes:

  • improving website messaging and conversion,
  • refining the contact form and lead qualification flow,
  • creating landing pages for high-intent use cases,
  • helping route leads into the right offer,
  • supporting email follow-up and nurture flows,
  • working on comparison and migration pages,
  • improving how we turn inbound interest into qualified opportunities.

Sales enablement

You will create practical material that helps us sell Vendure Platform, Vendure Cloud, and support offerings more clearly.

Examples:

  • sales decks,
  • one-pagers,
  • case-study slides,
  • objection-handling material,
  • competitor comparison notes,
  • Platform Pilot material,
  • Core Production Support proposal templates,
  • pricing and packaging explanations.

Content and customer proof

You will turn Vendure's product strengths and customer stories into useful market-facing content.

This may include:

  • case studies,
  • blog posts,
  • customer stories,
  • product explainers,
  • solution pages,
  • webinar content,
  • LinkedIn posts,
  • founder-led content support,
  • partner co-marketing material.

Partner and agency enablement

Agencies and implementation partners are an important part of Vendure's go-to-market motion. You will help create the material partners need to position Vendure with their clients.

This may include:

  • partner pitch decks,
  • "Why Vendure" materials,
  • co-marketing assets,
  • implementation use-case pages,
  • partner onboarding content,
  • webinar and event support.

Marketing operations and reporting

You will help make our GTM work measurable.

This includes working with tools such as HubSpot or similar systems to track:

  • lead source,
  • lead quality,
  • product fit,
  • conversion by segment,
  • pipeline influence,
  • campaign performance,
  • website conversion,
  • content and landing-page performance.

You do not need to be a full RevOps expert, but you should be comfortable working with CRM, forms, dashboards, and basic funnel reporting.

What success looks like

In the first 90 days, success would look like:

  • Vendure's product story is clearer across Core, Platform, Cloud, and support offerings.
  • Inbound leads are easier to qualify and route.
  • We have better sales material for Platform and Cloud conversations.
  • We have a clear offer for serious Core users who are not yet a fit for Platform.
  • The website better reflects our enterprise positioning.
  • We have the first high-intent landing pages for key use cases.
  • We have a repeatable way to turn customer stories into sales assets.
  • We can see which marketing activities influence qualified pipeline.

You might be a good fit if you have

  • 3–6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, product marketing, GTM, content, or demand generation.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Experience explaining technical products to business and technical audiences.
  • A structured way of thinking about positioning, messaging, and buyer journeys.
  • Experience working with sales, founders, or product teams.
  • Comfort working in a small team with limited process.
  • Ability to take a rough idea and turn it into a clear asset, page, campaign, or sales document.
  • Interest in ecommerce, developer tools, open source, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software.
  • Comfort using CRM or marketing tools such as HubSpot.
  • A bias toward execution.

Nice to have

  • Experience in ecommerce technology, composable commerce, B2B commerce, marketplaces, or headless commerce.
  • Experience with developer tools, APIs, open-source software, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience creating sales enablement material.
  • Experience with partner or agency marketing.
  • Experience with website conversion, landing pages, SEO, or paid search.
  • Experience working in a bootstrapped or early-stage company.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs, GraphQL, TypeScript, cloud deployment, integrations, or ERP/PIM/CMS systems.

This role is probably not a fit if you are looking for

  • a pure brand marketing role,
  • a pure social media role,
  • a large marketing team,
  • a role focused mainly on managing agencies,
  • a corporate environment with established processes,
  • a role where strategy is separated from execution.

This is a hands-on GTM role where writing, clarity, execution, and commercial thinking matter more than managing a large budget.

What we offer

  • A meaningful role in shaping Vendure's transition from open-source commerce framework to enterprise commerce platform.
  • Direct collaboration with the founders and product team.
  • High ownership and visibility.
  • A technical product with an active open-source community.
  • Real customer and partner traction.
  • Flexible working setup.
  • Salary range of €55,000–€70,000 gross/year, depending on experience.
  • Potential performance-based bonus.
  • Opportunity to grow with the company as the GTM function develops.

How to apply

Please send:

  • your CV or LinkedIn profile,
  • 2–3 examples of relevant work, such as website copy, landing pages, sales material, product marketing content, case studies, campaigns, or positioning work,
  • a short note on why Vendure is interesting to you.

Bonus: briefly explain how you would position Vendure Core, Vendure Platform, and Vendure Cloud to a technical buyer evaluating enterprise commerce platforms.
